Paper Clay and Feather Birds

Some colour to brighten up your Easter.

Each year we do an art making activity at the Campbell River Art Gallery in conjunction with the Campbell River Downtown Business Association annual easter egg hunt https://www.facebook.com/Downtown-Campbell-River-BIA-140261572745355/

This was so much fun and an easy project for a crowd.  We used paper clay to hand form the shape of a bird - added some texture with toothpicks - and then embellished (sometimes quite lavishly) with feathers, beads and googly eyes.

This project was fantastically fun and these colourful creatures are so very expressive.

Enjoy!

 Now for something completely different

Mustn't forget the "Narwal Sharp Bird"

Thank you Kaitlyn for always taking it somewhere else and keeping it interesting
