Crazy Hair Scream Portraits!

I found this project here:
http://frame.bloglovin.com/?post=4560710470&blog=12740105&frame_type=none

This was a super fun project.  Easy and just a lit bit messy but everyone had a such a blast making these that it was worth it.

Draw a face with a wide open mouth and half opened eyes - colour in with crayon (this way the paint does not go onto the waxy crayon parts) - outline with black sharpies.  Now dabble some watercolour around the head and blow with a straw.  Whatever happens, happens.

Check out what happened.

I love my job!!

Multi-media Masks

Inspired by Kimmy Cantrell

Everyone loves to make faces.

Working with very few materials: cardboard, scissors, hot glue, markers, we made these funky masks. The idea came from another blog http://www.handmakery.com/2015/03/masks-in-the-making/ and there was very little instruction, just an example and, as always, my fabulous Super Saturday crowd ran with it.  I was amazed!  I am always amazed and constantly delighted by what happens when you present opportunity, materials and an idea.
